Great course for the money but stay away on busy days and if you decide to go buy some beer prior to going out even if it says the beverage cart is out as it took us over 5ht to golf 18holes and we didn't see beverage cart till end of 8th hole and then again on the 17th hole...needless to say they are losing an opportunity to make some easy money on busy days.

I have played Lake Wisconsin several times and have always found the course in great condition. It is a fun course to play with a layout hat will challenge but not overwhelm the intermediate golfer.

LWCC is nice course to hit. There are a lot of trees so naturally it's much better in the spring/summer versus the fall when leaves are falling.

Overall I'd say the course is on the shorter side, but it's long enough to be challenging for all but the biggest hitters. There are just enough trees and water to make it a real challenge if you stray off the fairways.

Overall a nice, fun course with electric carts and a friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Lake Wisconsin is a short yardage course and was a good choice for my first time out this year.

Nice track interesting holes along the Lake. Played with father son pace was great. Had good time. Staff and course were great!!!

The course was a nice local course. The front 9 is a bit more dynic than the back. The course makes good use of a small plot of land. Fast greens run pretty true to the roll.

Always a fun course to play. Don't let the lack of length deter the better player because the greens are small and challenging. Also a new player will enjoy the course as well.

Very enjoyable round of Fall golf...course was in great shape! And so was my game...NOT! Good Golf and a Great value!

Don't let the distance fool you. Every hole requires accuracy off the tee.

With the trees and the water wandering too far off the fairway can turn what could be a birdie or a par into a double bogey.

The condition of the course was excellent and very scenic.

Would highly recommend this course.

This is a fun course with some challenging holes. The greens are quick but fair. The beverage cart called last call at 3:45? Overall, I find this course very enjoyable.

Well maintained course. The fairways were a little tight and not too long, so keeping your drives straight is more important than lots of power. The greens were quick and fun.

The course is in great shape and it was fun to play 18 holes (some of which are challenging).

Also had several nice items in the pro shop.

Everyone was very friendly. The food at the
grill was good, plus a lovely view of the lake.

I'll say right away I live less than a mile from LWCC. And that has been for over 50 years. If I want to play, it's handy, it is well kept, but it is one of the blandest course's in southern Wis. And this is not just my opinion. There is only a nice lake view on 3 holes, otherwise it's pretty mundane. You have to play it to see what I mean.

I love playing at Lake Wisconsin. The front 9 smelled like lilacs and the back 9 like lake!
Challenging course and the greens are in great condition.

The course offers tough greens with speed and slopes/undulations that make speed and touch priorities in being able to fulfill your read of the the green. You will find yourself on the flats, moving into the hillsides, and down along the Wisconsin River. It is a course that offers a lot of different scenes from each of the tees, even a couple that are elevated more than usual. There are holes that force you to consider distances carefully because of doglegs and associated hazards, and there are several holes that just allow you dig in and go for the long ball with minor hazards associated with being off the fairway, although blockage or obstruction by trees will come into play if you tend to wander from the fairways on most of these holes. Two of the holes provide an opportunity to wet your ball in the Wisconsin River if you stray right. It is an interesting course to play, so it is easy to come back to play again.

This is a short and well maintained golf course. The course is set in a great location along the Wisconsin River.
However, the abundance of very short par fours and many par threes makes the course feel like an executive course at times.
I would recommend playing the course with that caveat.

When I played there were 3 holes under repair, so I was told to play 3 other holes twice. Greens are a little small. Overall a good course, a little out of the way.

The course is a little more challenging than it first appears. really enjoyed the tee off on the Island hitting out over the water to the hole. The par 3 before that is also one that makes you fell the need to make a great shot or end up in the river. Looking forward to playing there again.

The fairways were in good shape and the rough was fair. But the greens were dry and crowned making it tough to hold an approach.
