Red/White at Mascoutin Golf Club
About
The Red/White Course was the original 18-hole course at Mascoutin Golf Club in Berlin when it opened back in 1976. Later, in 1999, the Blue nine was added to give golfers the choice between three different 18-hole combinations. Being the older course, the Red/White combination is covered with mature trees. They line the fairways, demanding accuracy, and they also frame the greens. The Red Course is the longer and slightly more challenging of the two nines but Mascoutin's White nine has a few water hazards coming into play in the form of small ponds. A few strategically placed bunkers also make an appearance throughout the course, but they are not overwhelming. There are challenges in store for more advanced players but overall, all of the courses are invitingly player friendly.

beautiful course
The course is just wonderful. So mature and well manicured. Just a treat!
Blowing in the wind
Never mind the Bob Dylan reference, this course would have been a challenge even without the 25-30 MPH wind.
One of the most enjoyable courses, even with the wind.
Great course for the money
Had a hot deal for only 16 bucks cant beat that deal for that course
Great Course
The first thing you notice about Mascoutin is the friendly staff! When you enter the Club House you are immediately greeted! If you have a question about the course the staff is right there to help. The course was in really great shape. The "Blue" course is very different and a blast to play! I would recommend this course to any level of golfer. If you really want a challenge and your a good golfer play the "gold's"! After the round again as you enter the club house you are immediately acknowledged and asked about your round and your day! And have a drink after your round, outstanding bartenders! Great course, great location, great value! I'll be back!
Amazing course and well maintained
Love playing this course. It is always in great shape and there are always very few people playing.
great shape fast greens
great shape fast greens, very challenging, practise your sand shots
One of the best in the State for the $.
The course was in overall excellent condition. The greens were in the best condition of any course I've played this year. From start to finish, this has been my best experience with a golfnow.com course.
beautifully tree lined, well manicured with challenging greens. great experience.
I have played this course many times and wished it were my home course. Friendly employees offering great practice facilities and various training options. Well maintained and beautiful setup and surroundings..
Has excellent greens
This course has everything I look for in a golf course. The staff was great and took care of all our needs
Course in very good condition
I have p-layed at over a dozen courses this year and Mascoutin is in the best condition of any of them, many of which were more expensive to play (including one that was $99).
This course offers a two nines that are tree lined and another with interesting drops in elavation. Great condition. A hidden gem.
Both nines that I played where in very good condition, the tees, fairways and greens. My first nine was mostly tree lined and tight fairways, similar to most aged PGA tour courses. The last nine had plenty of trees and trouble but also had interesting drops in elavation. I really liked both nines, in their design and in their condition. It was nice to play a course where if you spray the ball you will be penalized, and rewarded for good accurate shots from tee to green. I will definitely be playing this course again and espeacially at this rate. Thanks Golf Now.
A spring day in Wisconsin.
We had a wonderful day. Fairways and greens were in good shape. The only negative was finding a wood tick on me after the round.
Course has some very interesting.
Liked the blue 9 very much. Has some of the best views.
Especially the first, second, and third holes on blue 9.
Plan on going there again soon.
This was a nice surprise
I played this course on a Tuesday afternoon in late August. I hit a few balls on the range waiting for my tee time. The range was in decent condition. The course has some elevation changes that I did not expect but most of the holes are fairly flat. I thought the fairways were in excellent condition. The carts here are of the older variety but were serviceable. The course was getting some play but the pace of play was excellent. I would definitely play here again.
