Aerated greens
Greens were areated but we were never told. No sand on the aeration holes so the greens were unputtable. Literally each aeration hole was quarter inch deep. I understand that they need to do this but how about telling your guests that the greens are unplayable. Or at least don’t charge full price
Beware
Rude, incompetent staff. If you are looking to be belittled on a beautiful Sunday, give this course a try.
A real treat!
Wide, forgiving fairways, true rolling greens, strategic bunkers, and the best set of closing holes in Northeast Wisconsin. Having played this course often and played just about everything else in the area including the CC’s you’ll be delighted with this experience. The food is excellent, the staff courteous and well-trained. If carts are your thing the Shark Experience featuring GPS and streaming music will delight you.
This is not a parkland course, this is different, this is a true links course, and different is better.
One of the best in the area
RSP is one of the best courses in the area, situated between Green Bay and Appleton. If you enjoy links style golf this course is outstanding. Wide, well manicured fairways and large greens is great condition.
This course is a gem
If you are looking to experience links golf Royal St. Patrick’s is a great destination. The staff is friendly, the course is in.great condition and the fees are extremely reasonable.
Disappointing
Overpriced. Food ehhhh. Manager to say the least wasn't at all what you would expect for the kind of dollars this place charges. Far better courses to play in the area.
Played front 9, really liked it
Slid up there after my morning opened up, glad I did it. Threat of rain was there (and it did), but I enjoyed it. Was referred here by a neighboring course that was booked up. Links-style is a good assessment, big greens, a few bunkers-as-targets off the tee/on approach, and very few trees or water. Conditions were solid all the way: tees, fairways, greens & bunkers were all consistent, kudos for sure. Weather pretty much ran me off the 9th green, but I'd have no issue coming back & paying for 18. Solid course.
Royal St Pats
Super course best value in NE WI finishing holes are challenging
Conditions of the course
When you are playing a links style course and you are paying a fee somehow like a 5 starts course you would expect the fairways, greens, approaches and bunkers close to a link course, no a soft, wet course with slow greens, soil with pebbles instead of sand on the bunkers and balls stuck on their impact everywhere.
Dissappointed in Wrightstown
Golfed at St. Pats on a SATURDAY.. A premiere money HARVESTING day for all golf courses. Yes i know.
Rained heavily Friday evening was done in an hour. Torrential Storm by description.
Anybody would expect form a course who would want to be rated four or more stars would certainly rake their sand traps right?
NO... not these guys.. for what.. the equivalent of maybe 3 greens fees.. you keep all the golfers happy and what.. prep your course for the intended conditions..
I even went in to the pro shop to talk about it.. I was told.. "there is nothing wrong with the trap condition,I needed a lesson. Then.. when I explained that was bunk.. I was given other lame excuses.. You know.. I am not buying those either.. I worked at a nice course and if the wind whips up a storm you fix it for friday/ sat and Sunday.. the three big money days.
YOU GOOF...
I used to tell everybody about the course.. NOW i tell em spend their money elsewhere.
VOTE with your money.
