Not worth the price
I've golfed both the Ponds/Woods and the Valley, the Valley is better in my opinion but neither are worth $74! Yea, that's what they charged me on a weekend. It was $54 with a cart but since I wanted to practice proper social distancing I had to pay an EXTRA $20. Ripoff!! That's why they don't let you register online or call in as a single because they want that extra revenue, taking advantage of the Covid situation. I'll never golf there again.
Fun Place, Knowledgable & First Class Owner
Several years ago I was playing golf with a long time friend who seldom played golf. We had just hit our tee shots on # 10 when we were approached by what appeared to be a course worker. To my total surprise the man in this cart observed me struggling to move around to to COPD. He introduced himself to me and my playing partner. He noted that he could tell that I was having difficulties. He asked me why I didn't have a disability flag for my cart? I never knew of such was my reply. He then watches my friend waking away with a medium iron. Stops him and begins an impromptu golf lesson with my friend. After several swings we thank him for his time and help. At this point he tells me "if anyone says you can't drive your cart wherever you want, tell them to call Mr. Zimmermann" What a classy thing to do. I will never forget this act of kindness. A great place to play. Nice staff. And What a nice man.I shake his hand every time I get the chance. To do that ,you better be playing because its the only place you will find him.
Short but Challenging
Lots of blind shots hinder first timers, the greens were very good and the course is gorgeous.
Accessability
I'm a disabled golfer so bear with me. The course did provide me with a disabled flag for the cart that was pretty much useless. This would have been a good course had we been paired with someone who had more knowledge of the course. There were many unexplained parts of this course that not knowing, negatively impacted both our scores and enjoyment. Accessibility to some of the tees and greens is non-existent, but if you are able-bodied, this should cause no problems
