I played this course last Sunday for the first time, The course was dryed out, they had not cleaned up tees on the tee boxes, and they had dress code rules that were not posted on at the pro shop or on the premises. Some were allowed to golf not meeting the dress code and some were not. HMMMMM Sounds like unfair business practices to me. Make sure you wear a collar shir and sleeves.

This complaint is against the management firm that runs Willow Run Golf Club in Pewaukee Wisconsin. They are a new group managing operations at the course. I have been playing this course for over 20 years and this year have played there at least 6 times. On Sunday, June 24th I played 9 holes of golf. The person behing the counter at the time of check in said they had a new policy that shirts with collars and sleeves must be worn there. I asked if this was a new rule, and he answered yes the course is under new management. I said oh, then I will buy a shirt and abide by the rule in order to play there because my t-time was only 15min. away and I could not drive home and return in that amount of time.

I have no problem with that rule, however it is not posted on site and I was unaware of the rule prior to that time. I purchased a shirt from the Pro Shop there for $30.00. I played the round of golf only to see others on the course with the same style shirt I had on prior to the purchase. Tee shirts with no collar and no sleeves.

Upon completion of my round I went in and asked how these other golfers were allowed to golf with that attire and I wasn't - they said rules are rules. My complaint is the way they picked and chose who would be allowed exception to the rules. There were people teeing off at the time I was talking to the manager, with sleeveless no collared shirts and I asked how come they were allowed to tee off? He said rules are rules and left it at that. I asked him for my $30.00 purchase price of the shirt and set it on the counter for him. He stated he would not refund my money and that I would have to leave the premises or he would have me escorted off. I left without any incident but feel this Management group is not following better business practices and want compansation for the $30.00 shirt.

Golf course is looking great this year. Rates are good and you can usually get a tee time. Bunch of new stuff in the pro shop this year so you can actually shop a little. I think they have a new Pro there now.
