Westridge Golf Club
About
Situated on the northwest corner of Lake Winnebago, Westridge Golf Club in Neenah enjoys a landscape of lush rolling hills dotted with mature trees. The peaceful setting makes it hard to believe that Milwaukee is only an hour north and Green Bay just an hour south. The links layout tumbles across a variety of elevation changes that range from subtle to dramatic. Golfers should be prepared for some uneven lies but the golf course is quite player friendly overall. It is a layout that will appeal to players of all skill levels since it is challenging without being overly punishing. There are bunkers strategically placed throughout the course but perhaps the more imposing threat is the abundance of water. Fourteen holes on the golf course incorporate water hazards.

Good Value
For the money a good value and course. Greens were very good. Fairways were filled with mowed grass and made the conditions less than ideal. Rough is long to very long in places. Overall condition is OK, excess rain may have
influenced condions.
Shoot straight
From the first tee if you go left you are in the water. Most of the holes have water lurking if you do not hit correctly. Fun course, but You need to be in your game.
Westridge
Greens and tee boxes are in great shape. Rough was fairly long due to recent rain. The only downside was the rude groundskeeper pulling a loud blower to disperse grass clipping in the fairway. He followed us for 4 holes, never quieting the machine when we were putting/hitting even though he was within 50 yards of us, keeping pace with us.
Course was in excellent shape
Great course. Beautiful layout. Pro shop and club house very impressive. I cant wait to play it again.
Nice day for golf!
Course was in great condition. Greens, fairways. tee boxes, and bunkers were very well maintained. Leaves were picked up.
After hearing earlier that the course was going through hard times, the transformation is
unbelievable. Only regret is the golf season is almost over. Can't wait till next season.
Did not have chance to try food and drinks.
Next time. People in pro shop were very nice.
Will be back.
Hidden Gem - Just West Of Neenah
Wow! Thank you for the outstanding condition of the course. Excellent variety of holes and pin locations. Bunkers have the best sand I have played in Wisconsin. Will definitely keep this course on my rotation list for next summer
Very nice
The course was in great shape, the fairways were as good as it gets in the Fox Cities area. You will be happy with this course. Going back to play the back 9 this week
Course is in excellent shape
The course is in excellent shape! I played here in June and cannot believe the transformation from then to now.
course in great condition. fun day
Just enough of a challenge . Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rate thru golf now was very fair.
Course ownership in dispute
Pro shop is currently closed, technically, the course is too, although a limited amount of play is taking place. My sympathy goes to an unknown number of golfers who prepaid memberships to this golf course for over $700.
According to the local paper, there is foreclosure/other civil action pending in the cct. court, with regards to 4 years back taxes owed, and debts owed to an outside investor. Next hearing is June 9.
On wed., May 13, there was a single worker mowing the rough areas on this course. This is the first course maintenance activity seen this year on this course.
The conditions were good on fairways and fair to poor last year on tees and greens. Of course, they have not improved since than, with lack of maintenance. The current and/or next owners will face a significant challenge in restoring this course to good or better condition, if it ever happens.
Good layout
This WAS one of my favorite courses, really gone down hill. There are some interesting holes. Greens pretty bad as are the bunkers. Price was right, gorgeous day and I played well. Hope they can get this course back in shape.
No maintenance
Great layout. Could tell it was good at one time. Bunkers are aweful. Greens were half dead. Greens weren't mowed on a holiday weekend. I can't remember the last time I played with Dewey greens. Shot 5 under from the tips so at least I left semi happy.
Needs Work
This is a really great facility but the owner (bank) has not provided the needed maintenance. Greens are extremely poor and the drainage needs improvement. Traps needs to be revitalized. Fairways and tees are in good shape and I love the layout is nice. No alcohol at this point but that was fine. Under $ 20.00 is reasonable when they fix the issues $ 45.00 would be reasonable.
Waste of money
Greens were in very poor condition. Don't mow the tee boxes often enough. Little to no sand in the bunkers. A member of the grounds crew was even disrespectful towards me. I only paid 10 bucks to play this course and after the way I was treated, that was even too much. This use to be a nice course. If the owners don't care about it, they should just close it down.
Westridge
The course had some challenging holes. the fairways were excellent but the sand traps and some greens were poor.
Nice course for the price
This course offered some challenges but for the most part was quite moderate. Lots of water was standing on the much needed upgrade to the cart paths. Could at least use some gravel to fill the pot and mud holes.
I would rate this course as "OK"
greens issues remain
Most greens on front 9 are in bad shape. Appears to be winter kill that is VERY slow to heal. Fairways are in good shape.. Back 9 greens are in better shape than the front 9. Maybe they will be back in prime condition next year. Mondays appear to be discount day, as course was quite crowded despite its condition. I had to quit at 4 hour mark, after 15 holes to get to work on time.
