There are two 18-hole courses at the Silver Spring Golf & Banquet Center, the Island Course and the Falls Course. Opened in 1986 as the West Course, the Island is the original layout at the facility. At nearly 7,000 yards from the back tees, it is considerably longer than the other course but both offer a fair amount of challenges. Mature trees line the fairways and several ponds provide water hazards on several holes. The Island Course's new name comes from its trademark feature that appears on the signature eighth hole. This hole is widely known for having the only naturally occurring island green in the state of Wisconsin. It is an impressive hole though there are plenty of dramatic elevation changes and strategically placed bunkers to contend with throughout the golf course.

I have played this course several time this year and I am impressed with the condition of the course (we have had a very dry summer).
Carts have gps system, nice to know the distance to hazards.
I love playing this course but lately course etiquette has been lacking by some golfers. May I suggest a posted sign or a friendly reminder about course etiquette. I just don't like having balls hit into my group when we are playing 96 minutes ahead of pace of play.
Staff is allways very friendly and helpfull.

Yes I will play again this course is much nicer than muni courses.
