Silver Spring Golf & Banquet Center in Menomonee Falls boasts 36 holes of championship golf. Opened in 1986, the Island Course is the original course that was later joined by the equally challenging Falls Course in 1995. The Falls Course, formerly known as the East Course, is characterized by the abundance of both sand and water. Accuracy is essential in order to maneuver past the numerous ponds and strategically placed bunkers. It is considerably shorter than the Island Course, but don't underestimate this course. The layout offers a good balance of challenges while also being playable for a wide range of skill levels. In addition to the two golf courses, Silver Spring also has a comprehensive facility that includes a two-tiered driving range and an expansive putting green.

Bring your track shoes...I played the front nine in under two hours, and still had balls raining down on my not take any practive swings, or you will hear complaints on other tees..worst ettiquette I have seen in 36 years of golf...I am about a 12 hdc, which is not that bad, and I just could not play fast enough for this place...if you have a heart condition, forget will be up to 180, dodgeing balls, and running to the next tee..and I had a cart. The 7th hole, besides the 18th on the island, is the most unfair hole I have ever seen, and I have been to alot of courses, in state and out. You might as well pick up,after putting 10 times, because your ball will not stay on the green. It's holes like this, that slow golf down, and ruin what could have been the round of your life.
