This course is by no means your average par 3 golf course.

The course is a treasure for Fitchburg -- it is unique, challenging with friendly, helpful staff.

There are narrow, sloping fairways, sand traps, a winding creek challenges 5 of the 9 holes, a large pond to negotiate across, as well as a couple of fairways that are narrow and tree lined. There are also longer driving holes that gives the golfer a large number of challenges to use all of their clubs.

The course is always well maintained -- wild life abounds throughout the course.

    I highly recommend the course.

This is a challenging golf course. Even though it is an "executive course" you can use all of your cluds during a round. There is a lots of trouble for errant shots with creeks, trees, and a lake to navigate.
Over the last couple of years many improvements have been made. The greens are small but in excellent condition.
Is is also usually pretty easy to get on and can be played in around one hour.
The course is in an urban area, yet wildlife abounds. Muskrats, geese, ducks, squirrels, turtles, woodchucks, deer, are present and even fox and coyotes have been scene.
It is a very freidlt place where all are welcome to play.
