Glacier Wood Golf Club
About
Glacier Wood Golf Club has a unique landscape that was carved by ice and earth. The scenic course sprawls across diverse terrain that combines open, grassy meadows, with mature forests and marshland. Sweeping elevation changes and glacial rocks that frame the course provide stunning views from tee to green. The more open holes have a spacious feel while the wooded ones are invitingly secluded. Golfers will have numerous strategically placed bunkers to contend with as well as many water hazards. The par-3 12th hole is the course's signature. This stunning hole incorporates dramatic elevation changes, forest, and wetlands for a challenge that you won't soon forget. The 15th is another hole that is as equally memorable, a u-shaped par 5 that is a double dogleg with a steeply sloped green.

Nice challenge
Front nine was easy and the back nine was challenging.
Challenging but Fair
The conditions were great. The layout is great .
The greens are tough but give you a chance. The scenery was was beautiful and I saw a fox and a few deer.
For my money, not a whole lot of it the most enjoyable round in Wisconsin.
Short but sweet
Only got 3 holes in, medical emergency , Beautiful in the morning with all the dew
Foggy morning
The day started out very foggy, first 3 holes had a hard time seeing the group in front of us . Once the fog cleared the course was fantastic. We have been dry for a couple of weeks but the course was in great shape . I had a great round .
Perfect Sunday
I have enjoyed golfing the both times I've been here, the course is in good shape and the greens are soft and really nice. I'll look forward to playing it again soon.
Good conditions. Great conditions considering the recent weather.
Have enjoyed Glacier Wood the last few years, especially. The staff is personable and knowledgeable and the course is pretty and well-conditioned. The aprons and greens are immaculate and most of the fairways are weed free and spotless.
We also enjoyed the food in the attached restaurant, The Iron Grille. We were able to eat comfortably on the patio and all four of us would order our sandwiches again. We've eaten there 4-5 times and have never been disappointed. The chef went above and beyond as one of our foursome has a food allergy; he substituted something that might have been even better than the original menu item. Will return for gold and food!
Beautiful day, beautiful course, ugly round of golf played
As usual Glacier Woods was in excellent shape. Greens were perfect and as usual very difficult. As has sadly become the norm over the past year and a half my game remains non-existent. Still had a great time playing a round with a good friend and getting paired up with two very nice guys and we had a a great time. A nice mix of shot placement holes as well as grip it and rip it holes, something for everyone. If you get a chance to play this place by all means do so.
An off day
Pace was really slow today over 4 hours for 18 holes with a cart for one guy. Staff seamed a little cold today. Not glacier woods best showing but still a fun course!
