Eagle Creek Golf Club is tucked away in the rolling hills of northeast Wisconsin. It is only a few miles outside of Appleton although it feels much more secluded. The scenic landscape is virtually treeless and cut with ribbons of tall native grasses, providing the ideal setting for a round of links golf. Just like any traditional links layout, the presence of nearly 100 bunkers strategically placed throughout poses some of the most formidable challenges but there are also 11 lakes and two wandering creeks to contend with as well as fourteen wetland depressions. Eagle Creek Golf Club's challenging greens are laid across dramatic undulations that can make them difficult to read. It is an especially tough test on a windy day, forcing you to hit your shots low if you want to keep them straight.

Eagle Creek Golf Club is an excellent test for any golfer particularly low handicappers because it requires accuracy and good course management along with good length on the back tees.
The only problem was the 11th green, which was in rough shape because it's in the woods and for some reason, there is a lack of sun or water, and the green was virtually unplayable.
However, that problem is purely circumstantial, and probably not a constant.
