Tuscumbia Golf & Country Club
About
Founded in 1896, Tuscumbia Golf Course is the oldest championship course in Wisconsin. Nestled in the resort community of Green Lake, the course enjoys a landscape of majestic evergreens, maples, and towering oaks. The layout is routed through a maze of mature trees, they line the tight fairways and frame the demanding greens. There is also thick rough to contend with as well as strategically placed bunkers. The classic layout is more challenging than what you would expect from a traditional golf course from that era. It demands accuracy as well as skillful course management but it is a fair test that is still player-friendly enough for beginners to approach with confidence. Your skills will be tested but the holes are fairly straightforward with no hidden hazards and there is hardly any water in play.

Nice Course Needs attention
The course was in good shape, but the tee boxes and fairways need attention.
Neat old course
Tuscumbia is the oldest course in the state of Wisconsin. It was built in 1896. Overall, I had a nice time playing the course. The greens rolled very true. It was nice to play an old school layout. Being an older course, I expected it to be a bit tighter than it was. It was tree lined, but the openings were very generous. It was solid value for the money and very playable.
Nobody home!!
Arrived for our tee time and no one was there. In the pro shop. We had to go to the kitchen staff to get started. Pathetic. Course was nice.
Confidence Builder
This course is not hard, not too many ways to get in trouble. Greens are in good shape, very "clean" looking. Staff is friendly and good food.
The course is kept in pristine condition and allows for the challenges of wooded and narrow fairways!
This course not only provides an excellent golfing experience, but also allows for the golfer to enjoy the serenity of nature that surrounds the course within the midst of a small resort town. We (husband and wife) have played this course multiple times and truly enjoy coming back time after time for what this course offers.
Firsts time here
Great day of golf with my son. we loved our time together here. Will come back.

Straight forward course with the major hazards being mature trees lining the fairways.
The course was very well maintained with smooth greens and lush fairways. For someone who hits their drives in the 190 to 200 yard range, the course is fairly long from the white tees. There are modest elevation changes along with some tight tree lined fairways that add interest to the course. Excellent clubhouse and friendly staff.
Very nice course
Greens are excellent and challenging. Fairways are maintained and staff was friendly.
Classic golf at it's finest...
This is truly classic golf at it's finest.
Very old school course layout, long and narrow.
Tree lined and scenic with a good mix of long and short. Plenty of scoring opportunities.
Additionally, the Par 3 "Family Course" is GREAT fun after a full 18 on the big course.
Bring your A game
Very challenging layout, you need to keep it in the fairway. Tree lined, very large trees, with smallish well contoured greens.
