Nice track
I generally like the Cumberland course and rate it highly for a municipal track. There are some annoying course design/layout elements I would change. The first hole should be a relatively easy, straight par 4. And it’s a sloping ugly short par 5. It would be easy to modify. And the par 3 ninth hole is also ugly with those mucky ponds in front. I really like the par 3 fourth hole. And the par 5 18th hole is nice once you figure out how to play it. The sand traps on the course are awful. Hard and shallow. Please get new sand. Otherwise a nice place to play.
Great Day for Golf
Even though is was extremely warm, it was a very fun day on a beautiful course. It is very well maintained and provides a challenge for all levels of golfers. They even had a beverage cart on the course even though it wasn't the weekend. I will play there again!
Good value!
Nice, pretty layout. Good pace of play. Friendly staff. Greens a bit shaggy but it’s early in season. “Sandarita” margarita excellent!
Cumberland Course in Excellent Condition
The course is in great condition this year. Facilities are clean, carts are new, staff is friendly. Great value for the $! Had a brat at the turn from the outside brat stand, the beverage/snack cart came by at least 4 or 5 tines and everyone is friendly. Really enjoy this course. Front nine is open, back nine in the woods. Great variety.
Excellent experience!
First time playing the course. When I checked in, I asked if they had a logo ball, as I collect them...only from courses I have played. Abbey, who was assisting me, said “no...but I may have one”. She left, and returned with a ball! Thanks again for taking care of me!
The course was great! I played a really good round...because of the positive attitude that Abbey started me off with. I look forward to playing Cumberland again!
Play the blues
Very fair test of ability, back nine places more emphasis on accuracy than distance off the tee. Greens in very nice shape,. Interesting rolling layout. Golfers golf course at a reasonable price point.
Up north golf
Lots of trees. Greens are great shape. Played in less than four hours
Excellent conditions at Cumberland
The course is in great shape and they continue to make improvements. Love the variety and the staff is wonderful.
