Rolling Oaks Golf Club
About
Rolling Oaks Golf Course in Barron originally opened as a nine-hole course in 1980 before another nine was added in 1999, making it the course you see today. The course features rolling, tree-lined fairways and large greens with subtle contours. More than half the holes on the course are severe doglegs that will require some careful maneuvering. To add some variety to the course there are also some links-style holes that have tall native grasses coming into play. The abundant wetlands including lakes, ponds, streams, and marshes, provide water hazards on several holes. There are a few sand traps but they were added sparingly in order to let the natural hazards shine. Rolling Oaks Golf Course has a challenging layout that requires tremendous accuracy, but it is more approachable than it seems.

Very nice!
We always enjoy playing this course. It was in great shape and very quiet as the weather was cold. There is construction going on so lots of activity in the parking lot, but does not affect the course. We drive about 50 minutes to play, so appreciate the Hot Deal!
Great value
Hot deal! Other than being behind a foursome who would not let my wife and I play though, the course was very good.
Nice course
We will definitely play this course again!!
Had a ball in Barron
We always enjoy playing at Rolling Oaks, even better when we can get a deal. The corse is in great condition, the grounds crew are respectful of players when they are mowing, etc.
Great Round of Golf
Everything went very smoothly with the tee time booking. Price quoted online was exactly what we found at the course. Conditions were wet at the course but it was a lot of fun. Would definitely play here again!
Fun to play local in town course
Course was great to play some quirky holes that made for different play tee boxes need work
Worth the drive
Golfed the day before Memorial day, bartender is also the starter. Very friendly. Rode 18 holes on a moderately windy day. There are some tricky second shots on this course and nice vistas. Actually saw an otter amble from one of the ponds out to the creek that flows through back nine. Pace of play was great. Turtle Lake Casino is a short side trip.
Enjoyable
I played to course alone so got through the 18 holes in less than 3 hrs. Several groups let me through. This is my home course so knew what to expect. Its a fun course to play. After a rain you have to expect some very wet areas but other than that its a great place to play.
Great Deal!
I booked thru GolfNow for $16 (after taxes) for 18 w/ cart. I can't think of a better deal on 18 holes w/ a cart on a course that I would call above average. It had just rained heavily before we arrived and the course was a bit soggy in spots, but for the most part was well maintained and looked great. There were a couple greens that had some dead grass/dirt spots, but most were in great shape. Can't beat the price, the staff was nice, and we had a good time. Quite a few short par 4s (fine with me). My twosome played it in about 3 hours and 15 minutes.
