The Castle Course at Northern Bay gives you the unique opportunity to play some of golf's greatest holes all in one place. This championship course features seven holes that are replicas of the most famous holes of seven different PGA Tour courses, including Augusta National and Bay Hill. It is the only golf course of its kind in the Midwest. Besides the replicas, the other 12 holes on the course all have unique and challenging designs that are just as interesting. Bunkers are strategically placed throughout and water hazards also come into play frequently. The signature hole is the par-3 10th, which is the replica of no. 17 on the Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, a hole known primarily for its island green. The Castle Course's replica was voted one of the best par-3 holes in Wisconsin.

A fantastic place for a weekend outing with friends. We've been getting together annually here each year for the past decade. The course is beautiful and kept up very well. The nightly action at the tiki hut with live music and a firepit is great. The clubhouse that overlooks the island green is amazing. Provide excellent breakfast and lunch options. All around fun place that I recommend to everyone.

Having just played the Castle course at Northern Bay, I can tell anyone out there who is considering playing to save your money. I played with 2 friends on 8-2-2013 & could not have been more disappointed. After getting yelled for going to the first tee after saying we were on deck. This course literally has no fairways. The turf was cut short but with no grass underneath, you have lies that range from hardpan to mud interrupted by a few blades of grass. I have never seen this on 2 star courses much less a "4 1/2" rated course. We saw the beverage cart a grand total of 2 times. A playing partner went to get some water out of one of the few coolers & was awarded with a dry response & also a very nice mold sample on the water spout.. There is also, way too much sand in the bunkers that made for "egg" lies on virtually every visit to the beach. There are some very nice holes, especially on the back nine but overall the replica holes were a far cry from reality. Thank goodness we got a rate off Golf Now & did not pay full rate. After our round after expressing our disappoint and only mentioning the issue with the lack of beverage availability, we were called lairs for referencing other courses that provide the basic requirement of water on every 3rd hole or so. I would not play this rag again if it was for free. Please consider other courses in the area before committing to play here.
